The FDA released a report last week that tested over 400 lipsticks to be positive for lead. The FDA said that consumers shouldn't be concerned since so little is ingested, but do try to keep this tubes away from children and according to studies... did you know the average women eats 4-7 pounds of lipstick in her lifetime? If you do the math, a tube of lipstick is about 3 grams which makes 151 tubes for every pound! [Source pending]
